BG Brake Fluid Service System, $109.99
Operation of disc brakes creates extremely high temperatures which can cause rapid oxidation of the brake fluid. New Anti-lock Brake Systems (ABS) are sensitive to this fluid deterioration. Deposit and varnish build-up can lead to serious malfunction of the braking system as well. For this reason, some auto manufacturers are making regular fluid replacement a requirement of brake system maintenance. The BG PF7 will quickly and effectively remove all oxidized and corrosive fluid from the entire braking system. A visible indicator tells the technician when it needs refilling‚ to prevent the unit from running out of fluid during service. Used brake fluid is captured and contained in a 2.5 gallon jug that is suitable for storage until the fluid can be recycled.
BRAKE FLUID SERVICE
Problem:
Brake fluid becomes oxidized and contaminated over time and use. Heat and moisture cause corrosion on parts and brake fluid failure. This causes a spongy brake pedal and shows up in discolored brake fluid.
Solution:
The entire brake system is inspected for leaks, master cylinder corrosion, worn pneumatic parts, harmful varnish build-up, broken or rusted bleeder valves, worn rotors and drums and air in the brake lines. All old brake fluid is replaced with BG Heavy Duty DOT 3 or DOT 4 Brake Fluid. The result will be a longer lasting, more efficient and safer braking system.
Harmful deposits and varnish build-up—resulting from worn-out, oxidized brake fluid—are apparent on this brake master cylinder piston assembly.
STOP SQUEAL SERVICE
Problem:
Brakes that squeal and grind are annoying and need to be quieted or replaced.
Solution:
First, a complete inspection is done to determine the condition of the brake pads, rotors and drums. Worn brake parts are replaced, the calipers are lubricated and a special treatment is added to the pads to prevent squealing. This service will give you peace of mind and a lot less noise every time you stop.
